Midweek Ministry Meetings

Our Midweeks at Journey Church give our church members a little extra motivation to get over that midweek slump and continue feeling the special connection to God and our peers that we love so much on Sunday mornings. Request a call back to sign up for our midweek ministry sessions.

FAQs About Midweeks

  • What is the purpose of Midweeks?

To provide a highly intentional and appealing environment for every person at Journey Church to grow in one of the five purposes of the church (discipleship, fellowship, worship, ministry, mission) in the middle of the week. Midweeks is all about helping you and your family grow together in following Jesus. It will be a time and place where members of your family can come together for a one-stop connection that will be a great break in the middle of the week.

  • What will take place during Midweeks meetings?

Many ministries will be running simultaneously at Midweeks, including Kid City Downtown for babies and preschoolers, Kid City Uptown for school-aged children, teen youth ministry for students in middle and high school, and small and midsize groups for adults.

We'll be serving food most weeks, with a few nights where all the ministries will get to sit down and enjoy a meal together. We'll also worship together for a few weeks.

  • What time does Midweeks start each week?

Journey Midweeks will typically start at 5:30 p.m. with a meal together, and there is a small charge to cover costs of $5 per person and maximum $20 per family.

  • Do I need to attend every week?

Although we strongly encourage you to attend every week to get the most out of your group, you are welcome to attend whenever works best for you.

  • How long does Midweeks typically run for?

Each Midweeks session is designed to go for a round of 6 weeks (with some going a few more or few less weeks). We then take a brief period of time off before kicking off another new session of Midweeks.
