We follow sports teams, musicians, movies, books, people and more. But what happens when those things which we chase don’t give us the joy and satisfaction we desire, or worse, lead us down paths that we will later regret?

In this four week series, our pastors show from the lives of Israel’s first two kings, Saul and David, how God has something better for us to chase – His heart, His plan, and His involvement in our lives. Come join us on Sundays at The Journey beginning on Father’s Day 2013 as we learn how to go deeper in our intimacy with God as we become people “after God’s heart.”

There will be entertainment and fun, and yes even fairfood, starting at 5pm, followed with a salute to our veteran’s and our Counrty at 7pm. Entertainment to follow and the fireworks to go off before 10:00pm.

Join us for a great FUN FILLED FAMILY EVEINING. Please don’t foget to bring food donations for Gerry’s local food pantry. We will have trucks at each gate collectiing food for the pantry and it is our hope this year to fill the trucks full of non perishable’s items. i want to say a special thank you to Mark Perry and the Rochester Fair Association, and many other local businesses and people who make this event happen and partner with The Journey.

This year will be the best ever.

Maybe you walked in the doors of this church with a lot on your plate – guilt, regret, forgiveness, pain, fear.
Give us just a month of your time – just four weekends – before you close and open the wrong doors. Just hear us out, because the message of Easter is all about Christ closing the door to sin and death and opening the door to hope and life. And once you’ve opened the door, you will be able to go through life with the power and ability to continue opening the right doors.
