GPS Women is the ladies ministry at The Journey. Our name represents who we are: Godly – Passionate – Sincere women. This ministry is another avenue at The Journey to help us, as women, travel toward God by offering Bible studies, spiritual growth workshops, retreats and book discussions, together in community by joining in fun activities and events that deepen our relationships, and to serve our culture through coordinating large group outreach opportunities.

~ GPS Spring Advance - April 11 -13, 2013 @Alton Bay Christian Conference Center:  Ladies! We have rolled out the information for our Spring Advance – April 11-13!  Registration forms are available on the Ministry Board by the coat rack or you can register online.  You can also start payments now with $10 a week and the entire retreat will be paid in full before the end of March.  Don’t miss the opportunity to experience an awesome time of encouragement and friendship in April.  You know you will be so ready to get out of the house after our long New England winter!!!

PAST EVENTS:

~ Women’s Comedy Night – Friday, March 1, 6:30 – 9pm:  We enjoyed an evening of fellowship and watched the new Anita Renfroe comedy video, “I’m not high maintenance-just low tolerance.”  We left with our sides hurting from laughter and ready to be part of the GPS Advance in April!

~ Quest to Quilt - Saturday, February 23, 2013:  what a fun time of learning quilt techniques and getting to know new faces!

~ GPS Women Christmas Brunch – December 1, 2012:  Over 140 ladies came out for a morning of fun and food.  This was our Christmas gift to you and we are so happy you had fun!!

~Living Proof Live with Beth Moore – November 2-3, 2012:  one of our purposes at The Journey is to travel toward God and conferences like this challenge us to do just that!

~ 2nd Annual Dessert Scavenger Hunt - September 8, 2012:  What a fun morning, scouring the seacoast for the best cupcakes…pastries…bonbons…and pie!  Eight teams competed for the top honors but the most important winner is the Beach Pea Baking Co. whose entries won first place in 4 of 5 categories!!
